Schwartzbaum has worked in leadership and high-responsibility roles in national MDL proceedings involving product defects, financial misconduct, and insurance coverage disputes.
Representative Matters
In re FieldTurf Duraspine Artificial Turf Products Liability Litigation (U.S. District Court for the District of New Jersey).
Worked closely with lead counsel; drafted class certification briefing and renewed issue class motion (granted), successfully opposed summary judgment and Daubert challenges, and helped secure resolution of nationwide defect claims.
In re Erie Insurance Co. COVID-19 Business Interruption Protection Insurance Litigation, MDL No. 2969 (U.S. District Court for the Western District of Pennsylvania).
Prepared consolidation briefing and served on the Steering Committee; partner appointed Co-Lead Counsel in nationwide COVID-19 business interruption coverage litigation.
